Eligibility Requirements

Minimum eligibility

Beneficiaries on payroll: 25+ participants.

Monthly stipend: R2,000 (minimum).

Project duration: 3 months or longer (continuous placements).

Qualifying project types
  • Learnerships (NQF Aligned, SETA/ QCTO Accredited)
  • Internships and WIL programmes
  • Apprenticeships and Trade-based workplace training.
  • Skills Programmes (short-courses, NQF-aligned, SETA Accredited).
  • Graduate Internships, Experiential work programmes (WIL) / Structured work-readiness initiatives.
  • Private or donor-funded training projects where employers host and supervise learners.
Includes, but is not limited to

SETA/QCTO programmes, NSF funded programmes, DHET programmes, UIF-linked initiatives, YES4YOUTH-funded programmes, Corporate-sponsored training/placements (CSI/B-BBEE initiatives) and other public or private funding channels.
